George Piper
As the Director of Wine Experiences for Earls Restaurants, George is no stranger to sampling wine. George, who is well know for his sharp palate and witty sense of humor, has been involved with the business of wine for over 25 years. As the true visionary of the wine program at Earls, including the one price wine list concept, he is seen as a leader and trend setter in the industry. George has been responsible for many exceptional partnerships between wineries and Earls. George also serves as a guest wine judge in competitions in Vancouver.
Anthony Gismondi
Anthony Gismondi is Canada's most influential wine critic. A writer, broadcaster, and speaker, his expertise is widely acknowledged throughout the international wine community. He is currently in his eleventh year at Wine Access Magazine, and fourth year as the editor in chief. He is also completing twenty years as the weekly wine columnist at The Vancouver Sun. His comprehensive wine website www.gismondionwine.com attracts over 750,000 hits a month from over 70 countries. An avid proponent of appellations and site specific wines, Anthony spends at least three months of the year traveling the world's vineyards to experience the wine notion of "terroir" in person.
Kasey Wilson
Kasey Wilson is an award winning Vancouver, BC based food and travel writer and broadcaster. Kasey is the food editor of Wine Access Magazine and editor of Best Places Vancouver. Her articles have appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Bon Appetit and Gastronomica. She is also the author of eight non-fiction books. Kasey is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and the Association of Food Journalists.
Nancy Hayward
Nancy is a Vancouver based wine consultant with over 15 years experience, having worked at some of Canada's most successful and innovative wine companies, representing wines from all over the world. As the visionary, creator, and editor of the earls wine club, Nancy brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and passion to the club.
